Membership in CSMSC
There are several ways you can become involved in the Centennial State Miniature Schnauzer club. First, and foremost,
anyone who owns or loves Miniature Schnauzers is welcome at any of our monthly
and club meetings free of charge. If after getting to know us, you'd like to
participate more formally, we offer several types of membership that you can apply for.
Regular membership is open to all persons 18 years of age or older, and is geared for people who can regularly attend
meetings and want to be actively involved throughout the year. Regular members have full privileges of the Club and
are eligible to chair and serve on committees, hold an office, and serve on the Board of Directors once they have been
a member of the club for a period of 6 months. Because regular members can vote on all matters and are counted in quorum
tallies, it is recommended that you apply for Regular Membership if you can commit to attending at least four meetings a year.
Prior to being voted in as a regular member, you must attend two regular meetings and have your application for membership sponsored
by two current CSMSC club members holding regular membership. Dues are $20 per year.
Associate membership is open to any individual who wishes to support the CSMC Club and the Miniature Schnauzer breed,
but lives out of the area or cannot regularly attend montly meetings. An Associate member has all privileges of the Club,
but is not eligible to hold an office, serve on the Board of Directors, chair a committee or vote. Dues are $20 per year.
Junior membership is open to all persons less than 18 years of age. A Junior Member enjoys all privileges
of the Club but is not eligible to hold an office, serve on the Board of Directors, chair a committee or vote. Dues are $10 per year.
We encourage all prospective members to come to one of our meetings to meet other Miniature Schnauzer enthusiasts, to take part in our many educational activities and discover the ways our club seeks to support the breed
and the people who love them.
Take part in member-only seminars, like grooming, genetics and pet first aid.
Receive breeder referrals for your AKC litters if you are involved in showing dogs.
Advertise at a reduced rate in our monthly newsletter.
Check out resources from our member-only lending library.
