Welcome to the Centennial State Miniature Schnauzer Club
We are a group of Miniature Schnauzer owners and responsible breeders who are loyal fans of this smart and loveable breed.
If you live in or around the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area, and want to have fun with your canine pal or learn
more about the Miniature Schnauzer breed, we cordially invite you to attend any of our upcoming events and regular meetings.
Meetings and activities are open to the public, and dogs are welcome at many of our events!
2010 Terrier Group Quilt Raffle

Featuring the 28 breeds that comprise the AKC terrier group, this elegant 84" x 94" quilt will
become an heirloom to be passed down through the generations.
Designed and stitched by Joli Hines Sayasane and quilted by Z J Humbach,
the quilt was commissioned by CSMSC and will be featured in the Aug/Sept issue of
Quilters Newsletter.

Proceeds from the raffle will support CSMSC's Annual Specialty Shows and local Miniature Schnauzer rescue efforts.
Drawing to be held September 10, 2010 at The Rocky Mountain All Terrier Dog Club Show in Greeley, Colorado.
Tickets can be purchased online until midnight September 7th or from CSMSC club members at the show on the 10th before the drawing.
Your presence at the drawing is not required to win.
Using the delivery method below, you can elect to have your ticket numbers emailed to you, the stubs mailed directly to
you, or indicate this a donation to the club.
Within 2 business days of receiving your payment, our Colorado Division of Gaming licensed raffle coordinator will place your name on the back
of the purchased tickets, deliver the stubs/numbers to you as specified, and officially enter the tickets into the drawing on your behalf.

Physical Therapy for Your Dog
Join renowned canine physical therapist Marty Pease MSPT, CCRP as she discusses how physical therapy and
conditioning can help smaller dogs recover from an injured knee and arthritis, sports injuries, or simply improve overall conditioning.
Canine Good Citizenship – Part I (Training for the Test)
CSMSC will be sponsoring its first ever Canine Good Citizen test on August 15th at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
In order to pass the test you and your dog will be required to pass each of 10 tests such as stay and down in place,
walking through a crowd, and coming when called. This program, conducted by therapy dog owner
Jude Wrysinski, will
review what training you'll need to do with your dog in order to pass the test with flying colors.

Companion Grooming and Used Equipment Sale
A hands on approach to learning how to groom your best friend and what tools you need to do it right.
Bring your bathed dog and watch, do and learn! You might even find some bargain priced grooming tools.
$10 donation per person at the door.

Bring yourself and your dog(s) to our fun filled annual pot-luck picnic -- come even if you're not a member of the club and just simply love
Miniature Schnauzers! We'll have games for kids of all ages (proceeds support local Miniature Schnauzer Rescue efforts),
good conversation and our annual photo contest.

Canine Good Citizenship – Part II (Take the Test)
Show off your dog's good manners and take the CGC test with an AKC certified tester. Besides being a joy to live with,
CGC certified companions enable some homeowners to lower their home insurance rates, and stay in hotels not usually listed
as pet friendly. This AKC certification also sets you apart as a responsible dog owner. For more information or to register, email
